If I had to choose an overarching theme for Wild Roses Sanctuary, it is definitely one that encompasses Feminine Spiritual Alchemy. We understand through the word feminine, that this is the lens and perspective that we are viewing this spiritual alchemy. But what is spiritual alchemy?

The definitions of alchemy are:

1) The medieval forerunner of chemistry, based on the supposed transformation of matter. It was concerned particularly with attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixir.

2) Seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.

To summarize, turning one thing into another.

So when we talk about spiritual alchemy, we are mostly referring to taking one state of being and transforming that or evolving that into another. I like to look at this as essentially, healing or refining the original state of being. As we go through different processes, whether they are traditional healing paths, energetic healing, ancestral healing, somatic embodiment, we are catalyzing a state of transformation and awakening.

Spiritual alchemy, especially through a feminine lens, is so important because women are the original creators. Physically, spiritually, cosmically, and across all archetypal landscapes. If anyone should know how to wield the knowledge of this alchemy, it should definitely be us. In fact, I believe at this very time, we are charged with this responsibility. The return to knowledge, remembrance, and reclamation of the power that we have always wielded.

Some of the primary ways that we can tap into this transformation are by looking inward. Through self development, self reflection and self discovery, we take an active approach in knowing and understanding our true selves. Which is the basis of any transformation, understanding the foundation. Next, through connection. Whether through our ancestral connections, our bodily connections through somatic work, our connections to nature, or connecting to our creativity, we connect to those foundations that empower us and make self reflection, tangible. Another way, is through our embodiment of all that we learned. This looks like showing up as the woman we have now become through all of the above, in a way that is as easy as breathing. Now, we are her. Once we have gone through these phases of the alchemical process, we can focus on building our legacies and how we want to actually serve and share our gifts.

How has the spiritual alchemical process shown up in your life? And what phase would you say that you are currently in?

If you need a deeper look into any of the phases, take a look at some of our offerings in the shop, or please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
